If your bathroom cabinet resembles a mini pharmacy there is a higher chance of you experiencing erectile dysfunction. These are the findings of a urological study conducted in Britain between 2005 and 2010.
The study involving nearly 40,000 men between the ages of 45 and 70 revealed that men taking medications, in particular those taking more than one type of treatment, were at least 50% more likely to suffer from ED. The number of medications taken in fact was directly correlated to the incidence of erection problems.
Prima-med can confirm that many patients who use the online prescribing service to obtain ED treatments also take other medications. The most commonly listed treatments include those for high cholesterol, blood pressure, depression and diabetes.
Men who take medications and suffer from ED are advised to speak to their GP about the side effects caused by treatment.
